🏅Interior D-Linemen are undervalued in the NIL Market

...and GMs haven't caught on yet

Hey there,

If you’ve been an All-Access subscriber for a bit, you’ll remember toward the end of the CFP in January I posted our “All-NIL Teams” for the 2024 regular season. The goal was simple: Create an “All-American” team, but instead of taking just performance into account, we wanted to look at performance plus NIL value. In other words, the best bang-for-buck players in all of college football.

Creating that list, while time consuming, was a helpful exercise for me personally. Of course it’s fun to pour over stats and tape, but what I wasn’t expecting was to come away from the whole thing with firm opinions on how teams were building their rosters. To me, there seemed to be a bit of a
well let’s call it market discrepancy

I came away from writing those pieces wanting to write this piece, which has completely to do with roster construction – specifically how teams are constructing their defensive lines. In my opinion, they’re putting the money in the wrong place.

We’re happy to offer this piece to our All-Access subscribers. Not part of the team? Join today, you can see our pricing here. We try to make this as affordable as possible for you guys, because we believe an informed fan makes for a better college sports ecosystem. Join our roster today!
